Norwegian Cruise Line launched its largest cruise ship, the 4,268-passenger Norwegian Escape in October 2015. This 164,00 ton, 20-deck cruise ship is filled with fun activities, entertainment, and dining and drinking establishments. It's a great ship for families and younger cruisers, although active seniors should enjoy it, too.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is a subsidiary company of the shipping corporation Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd (NCLH). NCL was founded in 1966, headquartered in Miami (Florida USA) and publicly traded (NASDAQ) company listed on NYSE (NYC). NCLH's major shareholders are the corporations Apollo Global Management (American), Genting Group (Malaysian) and TPG Capital (American). Norwegian Escape offers tons of things to do, no matter what kind of cruiser you are, no matter your age. Couples have places to relax and soak up the sun, or sip some drinks all day, (or both!) whatever their preference. As mentioned, there are more than 300 Club Balcony suites on the ship, along with nearly 100 traditional suites. Interior staterooms are much more refined and sophisticated, with a dark brown and neutral color palette. There’s more floor space in the interior staterooms, as well as sitting areas. The ship was built with new "scrubbers" (exhaust gas cleaning systems).

Studio guests enjoy access to their own Studio Lounge, and single travelers who book a studio stateroom do not have to pay the default single supplement at the time of booking.
